Job Description

Assistant Commercial and Residential Property Manager - Ilford, IG2A fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Residential and Commercial Property Manager has just come available. Our client based in Ilford, IG2 are currently looking for a bright and enthusiastic property manager to join their friendly and busy team.The successful candidate will form part of a team managing a portfolio for several key clients.Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Manage all aspects of mixed residential and commercial portfolio circa 70-80 commercial properties and 30 Residential tenancies
  • Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet current and expected regulation.
  • Maintain a positive, productive and professional relationship with tenants & clients.
  • Oversee rent & service charge demand and collection.
  • Report to clients on tenant performance.
  • Negotiate service contracts with contractors in a professional manner
  • Work with property administrator to ensure property records are accurate and up to date.
  • Develop and manage service charge budgets.
  • Regular property inspections and tenant liaison .
  • Set up financial goals and report periodically on fee performance.
  • Source and build relationships with prospective clients to expand business opportunities in all departments.
  • Manage small and medium refurbishment projects.
  • Liaise with building surveyor on dilapidation and repair notices.
  • The right candidate ideally will possess the following:
  • Proven work experience as property manager - ideally no less than 1-2 years’ experience in property management.
  • Proven Landlord & Tenant experience.
  • Some knowledge of all current regulations and best practice guidance for property management.
  • Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software.
  • Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Well organised with excellent time management skills.
  • Full UK Driving License .
