Job Description

Asbestos Analyst - London£26,000 - £30,000 + BenefitsMobile Lab + Fuel Card + Paid Travel + Additional TrainingOne of the UKs most successful UKAS accredited environmental companies are on the look-out for enthusiastic Asbestos Analyst to join their team in London. With over 30 years trading experience, this highly reputable consultancy boasts a large portfolio of clients within the public and private sectors and provide a wide range of services in the Asbestos, Environmental Testing and Health and Safety sectors.Due to being awarded a large contract in London, my client has an urgent requirement for a fully qualified Asbestos Analyst (BOHS P403 & P404/RSPH3) with a minimum of two years field experience to join their company.The successful Asbestos Analyst will a be self-starter and will be competent in carrying our Asbestos Air Monitoring, Fibre Counting and 4 Stage Clearances. Additional requirements include a full UK driving license, excellent working knowledge of HSG: 248 and an enthusiastic approach to developing skill-set through further asbestos qualifications.Key Duties of an Asbestos Analyst:

  • Carry out 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing
  • Oversee removal works and contractors
  • Build strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Generate comprehensive air quality reports to be issued to clients
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of HSG: 248 guidelines and the health and safety legislation in relation to asbestos
