Job Description

Established venue in Hyde is searching for a full time Assistant Event Manager to join the team and assist with all events at the venue.This is a great opportunity for the right candidate in a varied role that will enable you to utilise your previous events experience, organisation skills and creativity.Salary is £20,000This is a full time, permanent opportunity with days being changeable depending on business needs.Responsibilities

  • Assisting with management of a portfolio of events, driving the planning and delivery
  • Helping to produce event briefings
  • Working in collaboration with the team and suppliers to create event materials
  • Ensuring promotional and database content is updated and accurate
  • Developing strong working relationships, both internally & externally, to support the smooth running of events
The ideal candidate
  • Strong previous experience in managing a team and running events
  • Exceptionally organised, with strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task efficiently and be able to shift gears quickly
  • A positive attitude: ability to be diplomatic, assertive, objective, confident, take initiative
  • A strategic thinker, able to anticipate future consequences
  • Excellent problem solver
  • Excellent communication at all levels
