About the jobEagle Roofing (UK) LtdRoofing Quantity Surveyor/EstimatorAn exciting opportunity has arisen within our company, we are currently recruiting a QS/Estimator to join our small, innovative team.About UsAs one of the leading Roofing companies in the South East of England, Eagle roofing pride themselves on consistently delivering projects to a high standard; applying the experience gained from working across multiple sites in the UK. We cover a range of domestic solutions including slating and tiling, torch on felt, single ply membrane, hot and cold melt roofing systems.We have built a solid, reputable foundation over the past 14 years, ensuring we deliver first rate installations and repairs, whilst offering complete roofing solutions to our customers across London, and the Home Counties.The Role

  • End to end project management - you will be required to oversee projects from initial pricing, through to completion
  • Based from head office - a mixture or pre- and post-contract site visits required, as required
  • Ensuring accurate tracking of all tender documentation
  • Preparation and submission of valuations, claims, interim payment applications and final accounts
  • Cost reporting
  • Managing sub-contractors, client liaison
  • When needed - support the Contracts Manager
  • Be a key member of the commercial team
    • The candidateThe successful candidate will have experience working on projects ranging from 100k - 2M+. You will be required to have vast experience working on extensive domestic projects.
  • Have a proven career history within the industry - pricing and measuring job specifications
  • Extensive knowledge of roofing products, and material selection
  • Clear and strong communication skills
  • Confident - able to work on own initiative, with minimal supervision
  • Computer literate - Proficient in Microsoft Office - intermediate Excel skills
  • Ambitious, with a keen eye for business
  • Full driving licence
