Job Description

Insolvency Manager (£60,000-£70,000)The RoleWe are thrilled to be exclusively recruiting for one of the UK’s market leaders in Insolvency.This is a rare opportunity to work with one of the most influential Insolvency practices in their Essex office and play a pivotal part in one of the most resilient sectors in the market today. The successful applicant will be a pragmatic and experienced Insolvency manager with an exceptional track record. You will be responsible for a mix of formal insolvency and supporting distressed businesses through insolvency processes. This role offers the opportunity to work with a large array of industries and high-profile cases if desired.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting into a partner you will oversee a team of insolvency professionals.
  • You will attend initial meetings with companies in distress to discuss with the directors the right solution and outcome for their financial problems.
  • You will manage a large case-load of corporate insolvency cases.
  • You will ensure that worked is delegated and ensure that cases are progressed efficiently.
  • Monitoring job WIP and costs to budget.
  • Provide training to your team and ensure compliance is kept up to date.
  • Take an active role in the networking and business development activities of the firm.
  • Ideally, you will be comfortable undertaking independent business reviews and other advisory work from time to time.
    • Requirements:
  • 5-8 years Corporate Insolvency Experience
  • Experience of managing less experienced team members
  • JIEB / CPI qualification would be a desirable
  • Experience working on Admins and liquidations, and CVA’s
  • Strong financial analysis
  • Great commercial acumen.
  • Educated to degree level (preferable)
