Our Partner is a well know rubber manufacturing operation. They are currently looking for manufacturing assistants on a temporary to permanent contract at their premises in on Huntingdon industrial estate. Working under the team Supervisor, this job entailsvarious skillsets from basic quality control, packing and some goods out responsibilities too.Roles and responsibilities: Operating of machines in an efficient and competent manner. Adherance to H and S protocols for machine use to include adoption of relevant personal protective equipment. Making sure instructions are strictly followed to produce goods of necessary quality Basic quality control checks after items are removed from machinery Tidying of product to the necessary standard and detailing of any major issues in regards to quality or production efficiency as and when they arise Making sure that each manufactured component is precisely packaged, continual quality assurance takes place at in each phase and that goods are packed in the niche manner that some clients may require. Assess via reporting of any efficiency issues at the end of each working day.Successful applicants will need to be physically able, be communicative in English orally and/or written and will preferably have experience in a similar industrial role in their job history.Whilst PPE is provided, heating rubber at high temperature can produce an odour that isnt favourable to everyone so this will need to be taken into account before candidate applies.The client are looking for somebody on the earlies and lates rotation and are looking for people do undertake 12 hour daysWorking hours - Earlies 06.30 - 14.30 Monday-FridayLateshift - 14.30 - 22.30 Monday -Friday on a rotation basis - £9.50 p/hOR12 hour days 6.30 AM - 6.30 PM EITHER Mon-Thu or Tue - Fri - £10.50 p/hIf this may be the role for you , please hit apply or Contact Ryan @ Recruitmint on
