Job Description

Product Owner Circa £40,000Location Huntingdon, CambridgeshireFull time , PermanentFlexible home /office working - Currently working from homeWe empower our team to solve hard problems - customer problems and business problems - in ways that our customers love, yet work for our business.Our team contains all the necessary skills to deliver effective solutions that are valuable, viable, usable, and feasible to our customers and users - both external and internal.We enable our designer to ensure that the solution is usable, our engineers are accountable for ensuring it is feasible and the Product Owner is accountable for the value being delivered within the constraints of the business.As a Product Owner within TIDE Service Ltd you will focus on the Geodesys brand that buys, sells, and produces products and services to the UK land and housing market. Your contribution to the team will require deep knowledge of the market, our users, customers, and the data to identify how they engage with the different platforms under your Ownership.The platforms include:

  • E-Commerce systems
  • Contact Relationship Management systems
  • Production systems
    • You will work closely with the team and internal stakeholders to truly understand the customer problems and determine a solution - understanding that your work is collaborative is important to us as a business, as we believe that only through collaboration problems can be solved effectively and efficiently.To best perform the role, you will need to be able to influence your team, as well as colleagues, stakeholders, and senior management through use of qualitative and quantitative information.Prioritisation techniques are key to success within the role, and you will have the empowerment to determine the best technique to employ.You will also need an understanding of technology to perform the role while balancing the needs of the technology with the needs of the business.Tools we have to help you:

    • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Agile Product Owner Certification (PSPO, CSPO, POPM)
  • Demonstrated understanding of techniques of modern discovery and delivery techniques
  • Knowledge of web services and web applications
  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple disciplines - engineering, design, finance, sales and marketing
  • Proven ability to engage with people in a constructive and collaborative relationship
  • Demonstrated ability to work within tight constraints and use sound judgement to assess risk and value
  • Demonstrated understanding of an Agile methodologies
    • Desirable Qualifications:Experience working with different deployment techniques i.e. Kanban, Sprints….
