Job Description

Job Title: Pricing AnalystLocation: HuntingdonSalary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annumJob type: Permanent, Full timeTheyre a UK-based company with subsidiary operations in the USA, France, Germany and China. The Company supplies materials which are used for research, development and specialised manufacturing applications.Theyre currently looking for a Pricing Analyst to join their small but integral IT Team, helping to support them with the roll out and continued support of the new ERP system. This project is critical for the long-term growth of the company and Phase 1 is planned to go live in 2021.Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively and efficiently evaluate and analyse pricing data and content in support of the new ERP system (known as Jericho)
  • Support customer activity through statistical analysis of pricing data
  • Report regularly to a range of stakeholders
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation
  • Assist with day to day IT tasks as appropriate
    • The Candidate:
  • Clear written English
  • Good attention to detail and a methodical nature, but with a pragmatic approach to solutions
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Experience of creating reports
  • Positive can do attitude, with an eager and proactive approach
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • A passion for working with data, backed up with some form of experience with data analysis
  • Enthusiasm to work as a team player and due to the varied nature of the work adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills
  • Some materials science knowledge would be advantageous
