Job Description

Interaction Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a reputable and well established local client in their search for a Payroll Co-ordinator based in Huntingdon, CambridgeshireThis role will be working on a hybrid basis, with 2 days in the office and 3 from home.The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating the outsourcedpayroll for around 250 monthly paid staff, where typical duties include:

  • Daily co-ordination of outsourced payrolls, liaising with the external payroll provider to ensure hours are processed accurately and within deadlines
  • Ensuring all deductions are made for CSA or Court Orders
  • Calculate overtime and banked hours
  • Adjusting any salaries to allow for payrises/changes in hours
  • Dealing with any queries both with staff and external payroll provider
  • System admin to processstarters and leavers,absences, SSP, SMP
  • Payroll reconciliation, producing payroll reports and analysis
  • Assisting with payroll year end, issuing P60s and P11Ds
  • Administer the Private MedicalScheme
  • Support improvements in payroll processes
  • Adhoc duties to support the team

  • Previous experience in a similar payroll position is essential (minimum of 2 years experience)
  • IT Literate - experience with SAP would be advantageous
  • Team player with a flexible attitude
  • Friendly character with a sense of humour
