Job Description

RecruitPol Ltd is seeking a Lab Supervisor / Manager for our client based in Huntingdon area. As a Lab Supervisor you will be responsible for leading the team in thats fast paced and challenging environment ensuring the smooth running ofthe Laboratory and team to enforce good manufacturing practices and processes.Lab Supervisor Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the co-ordination of production trials as required to correct specifications
  • Quality plans and schedules carried out to prescribed deadlines and to required standard
  • Understand and report on competitors products
  • Collate quality control data on a daily / weekly / monthly / yearly basis
  • To successfully develop the product, concepts and alternative raw materials through line trials for commercial gain
  • Implement improvement suggestions when and where necessary, either through impromptu suggestion, new additional learning or reaction to data
  • Co-ordinate and manage complaints regarding specification and quality of materials
  • Maintain high standard of training for all quality and laboratory activities through SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) Continued training and on the job training to ensure skills are kept up to date and relevant
  • Attend and contribute to Production Meetings
  • Ensure that effective implementation of the company Health & Safety policy is maintained and that all legislation pertaining to safety, COSHH, SHE and environmental Policies and regulations are complied with.

  • Strong in analytical skills and able to initiate improvement projects
  • Logical thinker
  • Good knowledge sharing and learning attitude
  • Ability to train others and knowledge share within the teams and departments and recognise when others need help / guidance
