Job Description

Are you sales focused and self driven Naturally inquisitive and motivated by results If so, we now have an excellent opportunity for an Internal Sales Executive to join our business, GPS PE Pipe Systems. Not heard of us before We’re part of the Aliaxis Group, a global manufacturer of plastic pipe systems for the building and utilities sectors; a successful organisation which employs over 15000 people worldwide… a global business but with a local feel.Working within our busy and innovative manufacturing business, the Internal Sales Executive reports to the Head of Price and Bid Management and supports the internal sales function with the overall objective of increasing sales. This involves:

  • Negotiating and securing sales on behalf of the company and in line with the company’s pricing policy
  • Assisting with formal tendering processes and product costings
  • Identifying and communicating opportunities through effective internal and external relationships
  • Influencing these relationships to maximise all sales opportunities
  • Reporting and monitoring all sales activity in Excel
  • Could our next Internal Sales Executive be you You’ll need to have:
  • A natural sales ability and desire to sell
  • Driven and focussed to achieve results
  • Personable and engaging, a great orator and scribe - you’ll be using the phone and email
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Willing to learn and develop technical knowledge, having a technical ability will help with this
  • Excellent attention to detail with good numerical and IT skills. (especially Excel)
  • Some exposure to ERP (AS400 or AX 2012) and CRM
