Job Description

Get River Positive Data Manager£40,000- £45,000- depending on skills and experience Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours a weekRegional role For a greater career just add water! We take our commitment to the environment incredibly seriously as we abstract and produce our world-class drinking water and aswe collect and treat the water that customers have used and return it to the environment via rivers and coastal outlets.What will you be doing As the Get River Positive Data Manager you will play a central role in supporting the delivery of Anglian Waters Get River Positive pledges. You will work with colleagues and with partner organisations that are funded through the initiative to monitor andreport progress, and help raise its profile.Key duties include:

  • Ensuring each GRP pledge is properly established with clear measures of success
  • Securing internal ownership and accountability
  • Securing sufficient legal arrangements where necessary
  • Tracking the measures of success
  • Reporting progress internally, including providing data and information to the Management Board
  • Providing timely end of year reports to secure the subsequent years GRP funding
  • Supporting the creation of new pledges by working with colleagues and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for environmental enhancement across the region, aligned to our purpose and environmental priorities
What does it take to be a Get River Positive Data Manager
  • Proven experience of working in the wider water sector and/or in an environmental regulation capacity
  • Experience in data management and reporting
  • Ability to work and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Organised and methodical, someone who can work to deadlines and prioritise where necessary
  • Ability to work with uncertainty, plan adaptively and work at pace
  • Excellent planning and project management skills
  • Knowledge of systems for data management and reporting such as Excel and PowerBI
  • Strong written and verbal communication style, a confident public speaker at all levels
  • Full driving license
