Job Description

Seeking a dedicated and analytical Data Analyst for a prominent role within the FMCG industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting data, formulating reports, and making recommendations based upon the research findings.Client DetailsOur client is a significant player in the FMCG industry, employing over 2000 people across the UK. Based in Cambridge, they focus on producing high-quality products and are renowned for their commitment to sustainability and ethical practices.Description

  • Analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to the companys operation.
  • Formulate clear and concise reports based on analysed data.
  • Present data-driven recommendations to the management team.
  • Collaborate with team members in the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Use statistical tools to interpret data sets and prepare reports.
  • Identify patterns and trends in data sets.
  • Work alongside teams within the business to establish business needs.
  • Define new data collection and analysis processes.
ProfileA successful Data Analyst should have:
  • A degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and databases.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to handle complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting findings effectively.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for working with numbers.
  • An understanding of data protection issues.
  • Experience with the FMCG industry is a plus.
