Job Description

This company are experts in their industry and have been leading the way, globally, for over 30 years. Their manufacturing facility is based in Huntingdon and, as they launch new products, they have a need for an additional Equipment Engineer for the team.This is a Double Day Shift working the following hours:

  • Earlies: 6am-2.15pm (Monday - Thursday), 6am-1pm (Friday)
  • Lates: 2pm-10pm (Monday-Thursday), 12.45pm-8.45pm (Friday)
The role will involve carrying out scheduled PPM and delivering technical support, resolving equipment issues and minimising production downtime. You will also document all maintenance, source and manage availability of spare parts. You will work withina team of Production Supervisors, Technicians and Engineers to understand and improve machines, systems and processes.About You:
  • Ideally a qualification in an Engineering discipline
  • Experience maintaining and repairing automated Pneumatic, Mechanical & Electrical systems, working to preventative maintenance schedules
  • Working knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and associated metrics
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills with a track record of results
  • Experience in working to and generating documentation including change management
  • Computer literate
