Our Optimisation Team focus on driving efficiencies through smart ways to make the network better.They are currently looking for an Optimisation Engineer to join their team of Engineers within the Smart Water Strategy team. You will be responsible for identifying and developing energy specific optimisation opportunities across the system. You will leadon the design and delivery or implementation of system-based Source to Tap solutions across the AWS region. You will have the ability to engineer specific and tailored solutions that are cost effective and efficient within agreed timescales and cost constraintsutilising the appropriate delivery route.The role requires a good level of general water engineering knowledge with a specialism in energy efficiency, preferably with a technical or project engineering discipline. Through expert analysis of our water system, you will consider opportunities andprojects to reduce our energy consumption in the water treatment process and associated assets, for example pumps and motors.Using technical and process experience, you will provide support to the Water Optimisation Team and Water Business Stream in relation to the reduction of operating costs of the water system.
