Engineering Production Manager / Electrical Manufacturing Manager - Electrical Engineering, Stereo / HiFi Manufacturing, Production Management, Materials, Team Management. Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. £35k - £40k +Benefits Luxury Stereo HiFi Brand Manufacturer with global reach seeks Engineering Production Manager to lead a team of specialist electrical engineers in the manufacture of high value stereo equipment (Amps, Record Players, Speakers etc). The Engineering Production Manager / Electrical Manufacturing Manager will manage a small team and prioritise the work to each member of staff based upon sales orders and availability of materials, manage materials and stock levels, assemble & test prototype products and liaise with designers in relation to changes required and produce & maintain the product files. This all-round role will require you to be the point of contact to support to staff in relation to technical issues with products and be involved with the manufacture, test, packing, shipping of high quality HiFi equipment rolling up your sleeves helping out wherever needed. You will also liaise with design department in relation to any changes to product designs to increase production efficiency. The successful candidate will also undertaken some fault-find activities on electronic products that do not pass QA tests. We are searching for an Engineering Production Manager / Electrical Manufacturing Manager who has gained experience within the full life cycle of electrical product manufacturing beyond the design phase ideally working within a specialist field in a small technical team environment responsible for end-to-end electrical manufacturing processes. You will have excellent knowledge of production and electronic processes, with a solid understanding of quality and health & safety standards and most likely hold a degree in electronics or an electro-mechanical field possessing both electrical manufacturing experience combined with team management / leadership experience. From a systems perspective you will ideally have worked with MRP (Materials, Requirements Planning) systems such as Sage Manufacturing & Accounts or similar. Knowledge or experience of 3D CAD software and technical drawing reading ability would be extremely beneficial but non-essential. Excellent organisation and communication skills pre-requisite.
