Job Description

Interaction Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a small, but growing owner managed business based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.Working within a small team, you would be the sole accounts person, taking responsibility for all day to day transactional finance duties, with the support of their external accountant.Duties include:

  • Process purchase invoices, matching to PO numbers and setting up payments to be authorised and completedby the owner
  • Produce monthly statements
  • Enter payments into Sage
  • Produce and send out customer invoices
  • Match delivery notes and supplier invoices and enter on to the system
  • Credit control
  • Resolve queries
  • Enter all POs on to their system
  • Enter sales orders on the system, to generate invoices
  • Petty cash
  • Assist with producing end of month reports
  • Various administrative tasks to support the business
Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following experience:
  • Previous experience of an accounts role within a small business environment
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management experience is essential
  • Support the management in process improvements
  • Should have a can do attitude
