Job Description

Sure Staffing are proud to be working with one of the UKs leading packaging suppliers in the UK. Our client was founded in 1903, Our client manufactures high-quality, competitively priced paper sacks, packaging, bagging and wrapping for retail, food, industrial,agricultural and domestic applications, in the UK and internationally.Sure staffing are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager in Kingston Upon Hull. As part of your role, you will need to plan and execute all the sites deliveries, accept incoming goods and materials, and provide organised storage of these.The role can be measured by cost effectiveness of deliveries, customer satisfaction and smooth flow of materials inward and finished goods outward. The ideal warehouse manager shall utilise his team to achieve the tasks below.Responsibilities Include

  • Planning of deliveries
  • Finished Goods Packing / Presentation
  • Goods inward - Acceptance, Inspection & Storage
  • Production Materials Control
  • Training And Deputising - Warehouse
  • Waste Control
  • Pallets & Top Frames
Key areas of the Warehouse Managerinclude:
  • To expedite finished goods, plan loads, negotiate and book transport and ensure cost effective delivery of products to customers.
  • Loading / unloading deliveries
  • Leading a small team of staff effectively.
  • Geographical knowledge of UK for Load planning
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday (40 Hours per Week)
  • Pay Rate / Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
