Job Description

Transport Office Junior £16,000 to £20,000Grafton Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading Hull based business in their search for a Transport Office Junior. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to join a company that invests in staff development and will train themin all things Logistics.Role description

  • Export operations and Exports Administration
  • Arranging Transport
  • Customer Services
  • Admin - Issue sales invoicing to customers according to agreements and check and pass purchase invoices
  • Take bookings and create in our internal software
  • Liaise with transport planners and shipping lines
  • Learn all aspects of full load export operations
  • Completing export customs clearance
  • Use Datafreight/Destin8
You will have
  • A confident and approachable personality
  • A high level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills
  • Experience in an Administration/customer service role.
  • Good decision-making skills, ability to evaluate, prioritise and plan while responding to quickly changing workloads
  • A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities, able to work on their own initiative within a time critical setting and as part of a team
  • IT literate
  • A willingness to learn other roles in the team to build on personal experience
