Job Description

Job Title: Training & Competency SupervisorIndustry:Financial ServicesLocation: HullSalary: £50,000-£70,000Are you passionate about financial planning and ensuring financial advisers deliver client-centric adviceAre you an experienced training and competency supervisor looking for a new challenge Or maybe you are an experienced financial adviser looking to utilize your skill set in a different environment Then look no further!Recruit UK are working with an independent wealth management firm with offices in Northeast of England, looking for a training and competency supervisor to join their team.They are looking to bring on a Training and Competency specialist to join their compliance team. You will work alongside Senior Management to help the Financial Planners to maintain the high level of competency the firm prides themselves on.Your role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Conduct client meeting assessments
  • Undertake case reviews to assess risks and training needs to help the Planners
  • Work with the compliance director
  • Provide 121 and group training with financial planners
  • Create and implement individual development plans
  • Update training and competency records
  • Manage process with regards to fee structure and build an exceptions-based process

Skills and experience required:
  • Level 4 Financial Planning Diploma
  • Experience providing face-to-face advice
  • Passionate about financial planning
  • Able to commute between different offices when required
