Technical Sales Engineer required by Engineering / Manufacturing company based in Hull, East Yorkshire. Competitive salary offered of £30K-£40K depending on skills and experience. We are interested to hear from qualified and experienced Engineers / DesignEngineers looking to make the move into sales. Alternatively, you may already be an experienced Sales Engineer. This is an excellent career opportunity fort the right candidate with promotion potential.We specialise in the manufacture of recycling equipment, waste handling and processing machinery as well as mechanical handling equipment. Due to recent business growth, we are now looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer to strengthen the team.The successful candidate will work closely with the MD to learn the existing recycling equipment product range and in particular shredders, recycling equipment, clinical waste processing and sterilisation plant and other special projects. This will includefamiliarisation of the existing customer base and development of new sales contacts. You will have responsibility to sell capital equipment, full systems, spare parts and service work.You will have good commercial acumen and the ability to exploit new business opportunities as they arise. You may currently be in sales or design or another discipline, however engineering expertise is essential.The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, willing to take on increasing responsibility with reducing supervision and be able to problem solve in a fast moving, competitive, commercial environment.Ideally, a degree qualified mechanical engineer, the candidate must be SAGE, MS Word and MS Excel literate and, while not essential, the ability to prepare basic 2D drawings / 3D models will be seen as a strong advantage.The position is based at the Hull office so candidates are required to within a one-hour drive away.
