Job Description

Job Title: Technical LeadContract type: Permanent, Full TimeHours: 35 hours per week, Mon - Fri (09:00 - 17:00)Salary: Negotiable based on experience and qualificationsLocation: Hull Office We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our Team in Hull where youll need to bring relevant experience in IT support and implementation.Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support on site and remotely to 30+ staff
  • Escalate out of scope tickets to our IT supplier
  • On-board new users to the business in configuring new laptops/desktops and software
  • Maintaining inventory of hardware and software
  • Repairing/upgrading hardware software
  • Assisting with audits and certifications relevant to IT and security i.e. CE+
  • Understanding business needs and recommending solutions to optimise work-flows using IT systems
  • Consider and recommend system changes to improve efficiency, reliability, performance, security and staff experience
  • Document, implement and review processes and procedures to support IT services where required.
Education, skills and competenciesEssential:
  • Experience in mixed environment (Windows and Mac), mainly Windows 10/11
  • Good understanding of Azure AD, DNS
  • Proficient with Microsoft O365 environment (i.e. managing email, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)
  • Understand basic networking and network troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Passionate about all things technical
  • Self-motivated to deliver the required results
  • Ability to work flexibly.
Desirable:
  • Experience in data migration
  • Professional IT qualification
  • Experience working with WordPress
  • Experience of working in a start-up environment.
