Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a reliable, energetic and patient EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant local school in West Hull.The successful candidate will have a minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and relevant experience of nurture and behaviour management in a Primary School setting. The role is to support in their EYFS unit so experience of the EYFS Curriculumand Phonics is necessary.The school boasts impressive facilities and a well experienced, well respected team of staff. The school located in Hull are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will add to the schools dedicated and professional staff, along with assisting pupils to raiseachievement, independence and self-esteem.The successful candidate will also have the ability to implement phonics, writing and maths group work and knowledge of a range of intervention programmes.You will:* Have good subject knowledge in both English and Maths and the confidence and ability to support all pupils* Be able to support in the delivery of high quality learning experiences for all pupils including those with Special Educational Needs* Have an understanding of safeguarding children* Have experience of nurture and behaviour management* Be supportive with high expectations of behaviour management* Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written* Be confident at using ICT, and willing to learn new skills* Have the ability to work independently, showing initiative, as well as being part of a team, co-operating and collaborating with other staff* Have a fun personality with a good sense of humourDue to the location of the school the ability to drive is essential and there are ample car parking spaces on site.
