Talent Acquisitionist AssistantSalary - £19,452 - £20,706 DOELocation- HullHours - 37 hours Monday to Friday between office hours either 0800 - 1600 or 0900 - 1700)Benefits -

Grafton Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a Talent Acquisitionist Assistant within a Public Sector Organisation. This role will be to assist the Senior Talent Acquisitionist with recruitment and onboarding processes.As a Talent Acquisitionist Assistant your duties will be -
  • Providing a flexible, customer focussed and professional first line response to providing advice and guidance on all enquiries to include face to face contact, telephone and/or email
  • Interacting with managers, colleagues and candidates
  • Answering queries effectively and signposting staff to resources and information as appropriate
  • Supporting the administration of the promotion processes as required
  • Undertaking a range of clerical and administrative
  • Maintaining and updating HR database systems and the recruitment system
  • Ensuring accurate record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format
  • Taking ownership of data quality and integrity of information when inputting, amending and extracting information and ensuring compliance with GDPR
  • Attending meetings when required to undertake notetaking duties and following up of action
  • Assisting the supervisor and senior professional staff with implementation of changes
  • Working closely with customers and colleagues, promoting a positive customer focus and can do culture within the department.
  • Assisting with planning and co-ordinating events e.g. contacting speakers, arranging venues and travel/accommodation requests.
  • Assisting with the production of management information and key performance data to inform continual improvements
  • May be required to use judgement/discretion in dealing with non-routine matters
  • To ensure all work carried out enhances customer satisfaction and meets the requirements of all parties
The skills and key attributes for a Talent Acquisitionist Assistant are:
  • Qualified to or working towards CIPD level 3 or equivalent experience of working within a HR Team
  • Experience of working within a Talent and Acquisition function
  • Previous experience of using an e recruitment system to maintain accurate records
  • Strong admin skills
  • A strong communication skills telephone and face to face contact
  • Previous experience of undertaking routine assignments/projects
  • Proven track record of continuous improvements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Organisational skills
  • Liaising with people at all levels both internal and external
  • Logical and methodical approach to work
  • Ability to work well under pressure and contribute to the work of a team
  • Willingness to learn and undertake a variety of tasks
  • Possesses an appreciation of the need for confidentiality
  • Flexible to meet the demands of the post
  • Using own initiative and judgement in the interpretation of issues
  • Ability to forward plan and work within specified deadlines
  • Has the ability to consider the wider dimensions and implications of situations/problems, with the ability to seek out/research information from non-obvious sources
