Job Description

We are currently looking for a Support Worker to work in a senior role and able to work both as part of a team and individually to make sure that service users are receiving care of the highest quality.Youll be working with a specialized care provider to support individuals with mental health and learning difficulties including Autism, Personality Disorders and Schizophrenia and making a huge difference in their lives!Our client is committed to supporting you to be the best you can be with paid training included for your CPD up to a Level 5!As a Support Worker, your role would include:

  • Providing amazing care for a small group of inpatients, supporting them towards independent living.
  • Work with the management and other team members to provide the best levels of care available.
  • A flexible approach to care, putting the individual first.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently.
The ideal Support Worker will have:
  • Previous experience working with individuals with challenging behaviours.
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, mental health, autism and complex behavioural needs of at least 2 years.
  • A live DBS available (we can run one for you if you dont already hold one)
  • A level 3 in Health and Social is preferred but willing to accept an applicant at Level 2 providing you are willing to train up.
  • Access to a full UK driving license.
  • A caring and compassionate nature with a desire to help and a can-do attitude
