Make a positive change – work for The Alcohol & Drug ServiceWe are looking for aSubstance Misuse Case Manager (Inclusion Health Team)based in Hull City Centre.This is a permanent, full time vacancy that will close in 22 days at 12:00 BST.The VacancyThe Alcohol & Drug Service (ADS) are a registered charity who have been transforming the lives of people affected by drugs and alcohol misuse for over 35 years.East Riding Partnership (ERP)– is a partnership between ADS and Humber Teaching NHS trust. It has three hubs, Hull, Bridlington and Goole. It is multi-disciplinary team led by a consultant and provides treatment services in the community.The services include aftercare, young people, community rehabilitation programme, a specialist supporting image and performing enhancing drugs/steroids and a team supporting service users and cares through a team of volunteers and peer mentors.It is a very exciting time to be working in the drug and alcohol field, with significant new career opportunities being created.An opportunity has arisen to be part of the Inclusion Health Team. The role will involve liaising with the population of the East Riding. The successful candidate will be passionate about people having their health needs met and wish to support inclusionfor those individuals who may feel marginalised due to complex issues i.e., homelessness, mental health, learning disability etc.You should have an understanding of a range of health issues and the impact on the individuals well-being. You will have a strength based, person centred way of working and be able to work well autonomously and as part of a wider team.Whilst the post is administratively based at The Central Hub (Hull), the Inclusion health van will be your main place of work going out to different venues across the East Riding and focusing on a variety of health promotions/interventions.If you have a relevant degree e.g., psychology, sociology, social work or Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent and a L3 Substance Misuse qualification or equivalent we would like to hear from you.If you are experienced by working in the field but do not have the formal qualifications, we provide a comprehensive package of accredited qualifications and for newly qualified Social Workers we support the ASYE programme.Note: We are unable to support sponsorship visas.Salary & Benefits:In return, ADS are offering:
