Job Description

Adecco on-site are currently looking for an experienced Stores Person to work at a local wind turbine company in Hull. The candidate will be required to have a driving license as this role will be to also work at their other location in North England on an ad hoc basis.Hourly rate will be £10.85ph and overtime will be paid at £16.27ph.Hours of work will be 8am-4pm subject to change.Role will be starting around the end of February.Interviews will either be held in Hull or via Teams.Will initially be for 6 months and then reviewed after this.Please see job description below

  • Completes basic operational approved logistics processing on schedule (Goods Receipt / Warehouse / Transport / Dispatch).
  • Unpacks incoming goods according to respective instructions.
  • Completes packaging activities of deliveries following shipping instructions, types of packaging and other instructions (e.g. Dangerous Goods) in the given framework.
  • Completes transportations of goods inside and if applicable outside the premises with professional usage of appropriate means of transportation.
  • Stores good following the store instructions.
  • Contributes to the regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area.
  • Assembles deliveries out of given storage compartments and review for completeness and accuracy (e.g. quantity and article number in reference to the respective delivery notes).
  • FLT license desirable but not essential
