Job Description

The RoleStock Coordinator - International Timber - HullInternational Timber are a part of Saint-Gobain - Winners of TOP EMPLOYER UK AND GLOBAL 2016-2021International Timber offers an unrivalled depth and breadth of timber products to the construction, joinery and manufacturing sectors. We specialise in the import, processing and distribution of softwoods and hardwoods from around the world to offer our customers throughout the UK excellent choice, value, availability and service.Our International Timber Hull site are looking for a dedicated Stock Coordinator to complete all dispatch documentation for the site, ensuring that all paperwork follows company procedures and is accurate showing attention to detail.As a Stock Coordinator with International Timber, you will:

  • Produce accurate and up to date stock records, maintaining appropriate stock levels to the current sales demand.
  • Communicate any stock irregularities accurately and efficiently to team members.
  • Ensure safe working practices are maintained by conforming to relevant company and EHS legislation.
  • Provide resources for stock taking activity and purchasing invoices.
  • Act on or escalate details and information related to poor performance standards and areas for business improvements and controls.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and administrative duties as required.
  • Any other tasks as directed by the National Inventory Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the site and to achieve maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Fantastic computer or IT literacy skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of accurately processing delivery advice notes, including works orders where required, daily filing of advice notes and picking notes.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure.
