Job Description

Software DeveloperSalary up to £45,000Location: HullHours: Mon - Fri, 37.5 hours per week, hybrid workingGrafton Recruitment are delighted to be working with an industry leading company based in Hull for a Software Developer to join their operational development team.This role is most suited to a qualified and experienced Software Developer with specific experience working with SQL or VB.Net software, who can apply this to deliver and implement software solutions to deadlines and quality requirements, and write codefor several platforms.The Role:

  • Deliver and implement software solutions to deadlines
  • Write code and ensure code quality by following Quality Assurance practices
  • Test reports from QA practices
  • Work with business requirements to produce software development designs
  • Designs for software development that enables business strategies
  • Change requests when software is ready to be implemented
  • Work through the backlog, bugs and technical debt to ensure working systems
  • Work with the wider teams to ensure delivery of solutions
You will need:
  • A qualification in Computer Science or an equivalent course
  • At least 5 years experience in a Software Developer role or similar
  • Strong knowledge of C#, VB.Net and SQL server
  • Good knowledge of SOAP and WCF Web Services
  • Good communication skills
