Due to continued growth, our client are looking to recruit an experienced candidate within the shipping industry. Travelling internationally, you will be responsible for ensuring that cargo operations are compliant and being managed to the standards setby the business and its valued customers.About the role:As the Shipping Operations Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for:* Building robust relationships with stakeholders and clients around the globe* Ensuring cargo shipments are compliant and goods are up to the required quality standard* Carry our inspections on cargo as well as supervise the loading and unloading of shipments* Create accurate reports and communicate with stakeholders to ensure all parties are notified of issues that may arise which may cause delays or disputesTo be successful in the role, you will need to be willing to travel regularly on an international basis, have a meticulous attention to detail as well as ability to be self motivated and work to tight deadlines.
