Job Description

MYNTRecruitment aredelightedto be recruiting two Shift Process Technicians for a manufacturing business based in Hull.This well-established company is situated in the East of Hull. It comprises of a large production facility and has enjoyed many decades of continued success. As such, our customer is now looking two Shift Process Technicians to join their ever-growing team.You will be responsible for the correct running of Injection Moulding Equipment & achieving production efficiency targets, whilst upholding required quality standards.Duties and experience required:

  • Install and start up moulds.
  • Carry out colour changes.
  • Fault finding problems relating to the moulding process.
  • Liaising with other departments and personnel.
  • Being part of CI projects NPI and machine moves.
  • Help develop 5S, SMED, Kaizen and H & S systems
  • Ideally you will be educated to ONC or above in an appropriate engineering discipline.
  • Ideally you will be a time-served engineering apprentice.
  • Holds an Injection moulding qualification equivalent to IMT 3 or above.
  • Knowledge and experience of closures/plastic industry.
  • Good knowledge of injection moulds / tooling and injection moulding machinery including Sumitomo/Demag, Netstal and Arburg
This role would involve working a rotating weekly 4 on 4 off days/nights shift pattern. 6am to 6pm one rota, then 6pm to 6am the next.Annual salary £25,500 to £29,500 depending on experienceIf you are interested in this role and you are able to work the hours expected, please apply and get in touch.
