We are recruting for a Service Engineeer for our client’s Animal Feed and Biofuel production Sites. You will be based in Hull and working remotely in the South of England, most of the time working at customer sites mainly in the UK, but also nternationally if required.Please only apply if you are willing and able to travel nationwide and internationally if required.The CompanyOur client is one of the world’s leading suppliers of technology and services for the animal feed, aqua feed, pet food, and biofuel industries. They have decades of experience designing and building feed and biomass plants; including engineering, installation, start-up, and commissioning, as well as aftermarket parts and service. This experience has resulted in hundreds of successful feed and biomass plants all over the world.About the Role and ResponsibilitiesAs Service Engineer you will:• Report to the Service Coordinator and be part of a well established team of Service Engineers in the UK and other European countries supporting customers mainly in the UK • Have the opportunity to become part of an exciting business where you are challenged both professionally and personally• Work with competent and highly qualified colleagues from many departments both nationally and internationally. • Produce and complete Proactive Preventative Maintenance programs for the equipmentThe company is in growth and are experiencing increased activity both nationally, and internationally, which gives their employees good opportunities for development in all areas.About YouTo be successful for the role of Service Engineer you will need the following qualifications and experience:• Basic mechanical education and practical mechanical experience• Good knowledge and experience of performing lifting and slinging tasks• Experience in servicing and mounting of mechanical drive components including gearboxes and bearings• Experience from a similar job ideally from a Feed mill or Biofuel / waste processing background • Be used to working in a demanding heavy industrial environment• Knowledge of basic Electronics and Hydraulic is an advantage.Personal Characteristics, Skills and AttributesFor the role of Service Engineer you must be:• Service minded and customer centric• Flexible on working hours• Willing to travel and having driver’s License B• Familiar with MS Office tools• Able to work independently, but also a team player• Focused on quality• Service oriented and seeking solutions• Flexible, cooperative and punctualRewardsFor the position of Service Engineer there is a salary on offer of £25,000 to £35,000 per annumHow to ApplyPlease note that eRecruitSmart is advertising on behalf of the Hiring Company and your CV will be sent to the Hiring Manager who is responsible for the vacancy that you have applied to.
