With international acclaim and funding, this client is settingup for its next major stage of development and is looking for the right people to join the team and contribute to its success moving forwards.This position holder will play a key part in the technology development of the next iteration of company process to produce clean renewable energy. Applying all relevant process engineering design standards, producing all relevant documentation, to enablethe unit to be built and installed on client sites. The role will continue to support the on-going operation of the unit.Main dutiesInvolved in all chemical and process engineering design and assurance.Process engineering activities for Front End Engineering Design, through to detailed design and fabrication.Process engineering activities to support commissioning and on-going support for day-to-day operations of units.Responsibility for producing and maintaining process flow diagrams, P&IDs, process datasheets, Line and valve lists.Process design and engineering, calculation, optimisation, sizing and selection of equipment.Management of the Technology development through implementing design change processes (management of change).Support the development of company process engineering design standards and best practice.Supporting the preparation and execution of process safety reviews e.g. HAZOP studies.Person SpecificationRelevant industry qualifications including degree in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)Chartered Engineer preferableMinimum of 5 years relevant industry experience (Petrochemicals/Renewables/Engineering)High level of chemical engineering knowledge within a manufacturing or design environmentSound understanding of HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA and Hazardous area classification in relation to process safety is preferable.Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
