Job Description

Weve partnered with our clients in Hull to recruit a 12-month Senior HR Advisor contract role. This position will offer a salary of up to £40,000 and home-working up to 3 days per week.Client DetailsAs a Senior HR Advisor, youll become an integral part of the organisations People team for the duration of your 12-month FTC, reporting into the HR Business Partners. Its a great time to join as the business is now transitioning to a high-performanceculture, driven by the ambition to grow and become even more sustainable into the future. Their head offices are based in Hull, accessible via public transport with on-site parking.DescriptionKey responsibilities include:

  • Coaching managers on HR Policy and processes ensuring best practice is followed including performance management frameworks to enable a high performing culture
  • Driving the successful utilisation of the HR Operating model in collaboration with the HR Service Centre
  • Supporting our HR Business Partners in the implementation of HR projects and strategic initiatives, leading on specific activity, including collaborating with business leads to support change management activity
  • Owning the people data for the relevant business area, always ensuring data is accurate
  • Managing and delivering training and development sessions as required to upskill our people managers
  • Driving, advocating and actively participating in the comms and engagement strategy for the relevant business area, ensuring the colleague voice is always represented
ProfileThe ideal Senior HR Advisor will be/have:
  • CIPD qualified or relevant demonstrable experience, including strong Employee Relations experience
  • Strong understanding of People and Commercial metrics as well as change management life cycle
  • Good coaching skills and experience of delivering training
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at all levels and be flexible in approach
  • Excellent Microsoft Office systems knowledge and skills inc. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
