Job Description

Senior HR Advisor 9 month FTC - potential for extension/permanentHullLHH are currently supporting a leading UK-based energy company with the recruitment of a new role, to support them through a period of change and development. The role is initially a FTC to support the transformation of the business, however there is likelihoodthis could be extended or made permanent in the future.As an experienced HR Advisor you will be confident to support the HR Director and the wider business on a wide variety of HR matters, becoming a trusted advisor for management and the whole employee population.This is a great opportunity for a talented and experienced HR Advisor to build on your HR career. You will broaden your understanding of the full employee journey and all the administrative and advisory work running alongside onboarding, development, wellbeing,and regular calendar of projects, such as annual performance appraisal and mid-year reviews and promotion cycle.

  • Responding to day-to-day queries about people policies and processes
  • Be responsible for the induction process
  • Manage Employee Relations
  • Implement and develop HR policies and procedures that align with current legislation
  • Support on the implementation and review of company benefits
  • Ensuring payroll is maintained
  • Support managers with performance management procedures and processes
Experience of working in a HR Advisor role. You should be confident and competent to:
  • Interpret and advise on people policies and processes including ER issues, recruitment & selection processes and all other aspects of the employee life cycle
  • Research issues, problems and trends and make recommendations
  • Contribute to projects providing administrative support, designing project plans and collating information and feedback
  • Engage with senior managers to provide pragmatic advice and produce timely, good quality information
  • Recognise best practice approaches and demonstrate good understanding of key employment legislation
  • Deliver work to a consistently high standard with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written communication skill
This role can be done largely remotely, although willingness to come into the office (Hessle) is required. Due to the long term potential of the role, realistically looking for someone who could consider office attendance into the future.
