Job Description

Job Title: SEN Teacher (Special Educational Needs) - September StartLocation: Hull, United KingdomAre you a passionate and dedicated educator committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs Do you thrive in a supportive and inclusive learning environment If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!We are currently seeking an exceptional SEN Teacher to join one of our partnered schools in Hull, starting in September. As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to students with a range of special educationalneeds.Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independent learning and positive social interactions.
  • Assess students individual strengths and challenges, and develop personalized learning plans.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teaching assistants, therapists, and parents, to ensure a holistic approach to education.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback and implementing necessary interventions.
  • Foster a positive and supportive relationship with students, empowering them to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in special education or relevant experience.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral difficulties, or physical disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of different learning styles, teaching strategies, and behavior management techniques for SEN students.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of SEN students.
