Job Description

Do you have experience of Autism and want to work in an Outstanding ProvisionTradewind Recruitment are working with several schools in Hull who are seeking regular Teaching Assistants for September Positions. These roles will start on an ad-hoc as and when basis, but will likely lead to longer term positions. Payment for thesepositions will be between £65.00 and £75.00 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.The schools we work with have an excellent reputation in the local area. Many of the schools specifically support and cater for the needs of children aged 11-19 with a post-16 provision also. These schools supports Autism, PMLD and Medical Needs. They aimto provide an inclusive, personalised, stimulating curriculum which is enjoyable for all. From working with the school for many years, the ideal candidates must be willing to go above and beyond and have a true passion for supporting SEND. The schools we supportoffer lots of opportunities for children to learn and develop.The roles we are currently recruiting for are:

  • Autism Specialist Classroom Teaching Assistant
  • General Teaching assistant
The hours are from 8:30am until 3:30pm. This training is an excellent opportunity and is a necessary requirement for all members of staff permanent and temporary.The school are looking for:
  • Experience of Autism, Complex Needs or Medical Needs with children or young adults which is essential
  • Manual Handling, Team Teach Training or Personal Care Training is desirable
  • Experience of working in a Care or Education environment is essential
  • A candidate who uses initiative and is willing to get involved as part of a team
