Job Description

Role Title: SAP PP Consultant Rate £630.00 per day via umbrella company Location: Hull (Hybrid)10 Months contract Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead your functional area within the engagement as an SAP S4/HANA Production Planning Consultant to deliver full project life cycle delivery,
  • Training, supporting and mentoring team members, including junior talent to learn from your experiences and expertise
  • Consulting experience in SAP S4/HANA Production Planning
  • Must have strong technical skills and knowledge of the SAP Production Planning module
    • SAP Production Planning Organization structure - Plant, Storage locations, Work Centres nd assignment of overall structure.
    • Production Master Data (Work Centres, Routings, Bill of Materials, Production Versions, PRTs, Document Information Records)
    • Order Execution, Production Planning & PI Sheets, Integration with MES, Integration with external planning systems, Integration with Shop Floor Control systems for tie and attendance.
    • S4/HANA Master Production Scheduling and Material Requirements Planning, including Demand Management and Long Term Planning
    • Capacity Planning and Scheduling
    • Knowledge of pMRP & PPDS desirable
    • Good knowledge of SAP MM
    • Batch determination in Production Planning
    • Business Process Knowledge related to Planning Strategies (e.g. Make to Stock, Make to Order, Planning with Final Assembly)
    • Integration of Production Planning with FI, CO, SD, MM, PM
  • Multiple end to end design and implementation programmes within SAP S4/HANA Production Planning
  • You will have a depth of consulting and functional experience of SAP S4/HANA Production Planning, working across one or more additional SAP Supply Chain business process such as: Materials Management, Quality Management, Sales and Distribution, Procurement
  • Advocate of best practice design principles along with an advisory focus
  • Industry and business process knowledge in one or more of the following sectors is an advantage: Aerospace and Defence, Consumer Products, Pharma or Discrete Manufacturing
  • Can demonstrate knowledge of the strategic direction of SAP and related products.
  • Leadership experience across small to medium sized teams, both onshore and offshore
  • You have a passion to work with the selected client, advising them on how to get the most out of their SAP technologies
