Job Description

Project Manager - PackagingLocation: HullSalary: DOECompany: A leading packaging and graphics company.Role: To administer jobs and carry out sales order processing activities and sales activities, so as to maintain, develop and maximise sales of self-adhesive label & flexible packaging products for major accounts. Operating in accordancewith agreed operating & procedures documentation in order to provide an optimum level of customer service to clients.Responsible for looking after account and/or projects from initial concept to completion whilst ensuring an exceptional client service.

  • Serves as a day-to-day contact
  • Participate in meetings with existing clients and internal teams
  • Ensures high quality standards in all client deliverables
  • Coordinate client-specific projects throughout the lifecycle
  • Plan, execute and support process activities to the customers agreed timescales by liaising with internal production management
  • Managing projects from initial concept to completion, on time and budget
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience, ensuring all KPIs are met
  • Assume full responsibility for all activity for your projects, plan appropriately, consult cross functionally and inform stakeholders to ensure alignment and management of expectations
  • Respond to and follow up sales orders/potential requirements using appropriate methods
  • Attend external customer meetings, customer press passes and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development
  • Process customer quotations in a courteous, efficient and timely manner
  • Attend production planning meetings on a daily basis with the production planning team in order to review current workflow
Requirements:
  • Proven account / project management experience within packaging
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Computer literate - MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Team collaboration skills
