Project Engineer37.5 Hours, Permanent, Monday to Friday West Hull Office Location with some travel required across the UK.Salary up to £35,000 per annum, dependant on experience.Office Angels are proudly partnering with a dynamic and innovative manufacturing company based in West HullWe are looking for a talented and motivated Project Engineer to join a growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a Mechanical and/or Engineering background, coupled with a proficient mastery of Solidworks software, to contribute in exciting projects and working collaboratively with the wider team.Responsibilities:Sales Technical Support - Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support during the pre-sales phase.Assist in creating technical proposals and presentations for potential clients.Address client inquiries and provide relevant technical information.Approval drawings - Produce detailed approval drawings in accordance with project specifications and client requirements.Ensure that drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations.Bill of Materials (BOM) - Generate and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) for projects.Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of required materials.Design Documentation Management- Manage all design documentation throughout the project life cycle.Ensure version control and proper organisation of design files.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update and maintain design documentation.Project schedule management- Keep project schedules up to date and communicate any changes to relevant stakeholders.Identify and mitigate potential delays to ensure project timelines are met.Sub-contractor support- Provide technical support to sub-contractors involved in the project.Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure alignment with project specifications.QualificationsBachelors degree in mechanical engineering, CAD, or a related field / or experience.Proficient in SolidWorks is essential.Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.Skills and competenciesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time-management skills.Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure.BenefitsCompetitive salary up to £35,000 per annum.Opportunities for professional development and growth.Free on-site parking25 days holiday + bank holidaysChristmas shutdownHigh street discount schemeIf you are a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for project engineering, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
