Role Title Production Planning ConsultantLocation The role will require onsite travel to Hull during the duration of the project.From July 17th for KT Workshops, Candidate must join the KT sessions remotely working Japan hrs for the 2 weeks2-3 days per week during the months August and September onsite in Hull. This would drop to a day or two every fortnight during build in October, November, December. The role is till March 2024.Role and Responsibilities• Lead your functional area within the engagement as an SAP S4/HANA Production Planning Consultant to deliver full project life cycle delivery,• Training, supporting and mentoring team members, including junior talent to learn from your experiences and expertise• Consulting experience in SAP S4/HANA Production Planning• Must have strong technical skills and knowledge of the SAP Production Planning moduleo SAP Production Planning Organization structure - Plant, Storage locations, Work Centres nd assignment of overall structure.o Production Master Data (Work Centres, Routings, Bill of Materials, Production Versions, PRT’s, Document Information Records)o Order Execution, Production Planning & PI Sheets, Integration with MES, Integration with external planning systems, Integration with Shop Floor Control systems for tie and attendance.o S4/HANA Master Production Scheduling and Material Requirements Planning, including Demand Management and Long Term Planningo Capacity Planning and Schedulingo Knowledge of pMRP & PPDS desirableo Good knowledge of SAP MMo Batch determination in Production Planningo Business Process Knowledge related to Planning Strategies (e.g. Make to Stock, Make to Order, Planning with Final Assembly)o Integration of Production Planning with FI, CO, SD, MM, PM• Multiple end to end design and implementation programmes within SAP S4/HANA Production Planning• You will have a depth of consulting and functional experience of SAP S4/HANA Production Planning, working across one or more additional SAP Supply Chain business process such as: Materials Management, Quality Management, Sales and Distribution, Procurement• Advocate of best practice design principles along with an advisory focus• Industry and business process knowledge in one or more of the following sectors is an advantage: Aerospace and Defence, Consumer Products, Pharma or Discrete Manufacturing• Can demonstrate knowledge of the strategic direction of SAP and related products.• Leadership experience across small to medium sized teams, both onshore and offshore• You have a passion to work with the selected client, advising them on how to get the most out of their SAP technologies.
