Job Description

Production Operative In HU3 AREASureStaffing UK Ltd are looking to recruit for Production Operative, for our client based in Hull. Our client is a leading supplier of coated, battered frozen fish across all country.Responsibilities and Duties of a Production OperativeWith our clients nature of business our candidates must possess the correct attributes and experience for the role,To comply with company procedures regarding absence and attendance.

  1. To comply with company procedures regarding personal hygiene.
  2. To comply with company procedures regarding health and safety.
  3. To carry out simple tasks as part of the production process and rotate between tasks as directed by supervisor or manager. These tasks will include such things as: -
  • Packing products into boxes
  • Packing packets of product into boxes
  • Stacking boxes on a pallet
  • Sorting product into stacks for wrapping
  1. To ensure that any products being handled comply with basic quality parameters outlined by the senior operator / team leader.
  2. To maintain the work area in a clean and hygienic state at all times by observing a "clean as you go" work practice.
  3. To carry out other tasks as requested by the line supervisor / manager.
Working Hours for a Production OperativeMonday to Friday, 2pm-10pmShift times for a Production Operativeare:
  • Afternoon - 14:00pm - 22:00pm
  • Monday to Friday
Pay Rates for a Production Operative:
  • £10ph (Afternoons)
  • £15ph Overtime Saturday
  • £20ph Overtime Sunday
