Job Description

We are looking for a Production Operative to join the PMP Recruitment team in Hull, HU3 2BN.Our client is a Global Medical Technology business with operations in 33 countries. They develop and market advanced medical devices that help health care and professionals treat patients more effectively - and patients get back to their normal lives faster.Pay rate as a Production Operative:Pre 12 weeks:

  • Day shift: £8.91 per hour (overtime rate will be £13.37 per hour)
  • Night shift: £8.98 per hour (overtime rate will be £13.47 per hour)
    • Post 12 weeks:
  • Day shift: £11.97 per hour + £2.09 shift allowance (overtime rate will be £17.96 per hour)
  • Night shift: £11.97 per hour + £2.57 shift allowance (overtime rate will be £17.96 per hour)
    • Day to day life as a Production Operative:Reporting to the Cell Manager your role will be responsible for safely and competently carry out all duties required to efficiently operate the film processes whilst continually improving our standards towards being a World Class Operation.
  • Carry out line adjustments as necessary to ensure consistent product quality
  • To correctly record and use materials
  • To ensure correct stock accuracy
  • To carry out all testing to the relevant schedules to comply with specifications
    • Typical hours as a Production Operative:
  • Mornings: 06:00am until 14:00pm
  • Afternoons: 14:00pm until 22:00pm
  • Nights: 22:00PM until 06:00AM
  • You will be working Monday to Friday but you must be able to do rotating shifts
    • Our ideal candidate:
  • Basic understanding of Health and Safety procedures and practices
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing would be advantageous
  • Communicate effectively in English (written, verbal and PC)
  • Required GCSE in Maths and English (Grade C at a minimum)
