With a turnover approaching £300m and employing more than 1,000 staff, they are now seeking to recruit anexperienced and enthusiastic Product Development Engineer to complement their professional and highly successful team.Reporting to the Engineering Director, and working both remotely and out of the Kingston Upon Hull office as required, the successful candidate will lead R&D activities for future engineering projects and packages of work to support business developmentplans, undertaking development activities across all leisure and recreational product streams with a focus on producing innovative solutions to underlying issues such as functionality weight, cost and complexity, further enhancing the companys reputationfor technological leadership.As a Product Development Engineer, you will define, plan and deliver innovative technical solutions to the project teams to an appropriate state of technical readiness via internal cross-functional projects and the management of external projects in conjunctionwith key strategic partners, suppliers, consultancies and academic institutions whilst providing support on NPD projects as required and introducing best practice quality & engineering tools and techniques within the department where applicable.Core responsibilities for this unique and challenging Product Development Engineer role will include (but not be limited to):
