Job Description

Patient Care AdvisorSalary: Up to £21,000Location: HullHours: Full time (40 hours per week) and part time positions availableShift patterns between the operating hours of 7am - 7pm:7:30am - 4pm8am - 4:30pm9am - 5.30pm10am - 6:30pm Grafton Recruitment are excited to be collaborating with a national healthcare company for Patient Care Advisors to join their growing Hull offices. This is a varied role, covering a large volume of incoming calls, dealing with a variety of sensitiveinformation from customers and delivering an exceptional level of customer care.The duties of the Patient Care Advisor include:

  • Be the first point of contact for patients, healthcare professionals and all other callers
  • Assist in the smooth operation of the admin office on a daily basis
  • Undertake any additional tasks as asked by management and any ad-hoc duties as required
  • Operate the patient booking system across the organisation, managing the clinical diaries
  • Contact and book in patients into appointment slots for health assessments and treatments
  • Effectively deal with patient queries and appointment request via telephone
  • Maintain key working relationships with customers, colleagues, management, and healthcare staff including GPs
  • Register patients using the companys systems, answer voicemails, deal with complaints or cancellations, and support clinicians with services
You will need:
  • Secondary school level education
  • IT literate and proficient with Microsoft Office package
  • Excellent telephone manner, exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Be organised with great attention to detail
  • Able to work calmly under pressure and a problem solver
  • Able to prioritise own workload and be a team player
  • Any customer service/customer-facing background, including retail, contact centre, hospitality
