Job Title: Operations Manager - Drain and Sewer Cleaning and MaintenanceLocation: Hull, United KingdomSalary: Up to £40,000 per annum + Company VanCompany Overview:We are a well-established Drain and Sewer Cleaning and Maintenance company based in Hull. With a fleet of top-of-the-line Jet Vac and Water Recycle Tankers, CCTV and Van Pack Jetting equipment, Robotic cutting, and No-Dig Lining equipment, we pride ourselveson delivering high-quality services to our residential and commercial clients.We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operations to ensure the smooth and efficient running ofour drainage services.Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Drain and Sewer Cleaning and Maintenance services- Manage and coordinate the scheduling of jobs, ensuring they are completed within deadlines and to client satisfaction- Monitor and maintain high standards of health and safety procedures throughout the operation- Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally- Manage and motivate a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient service- Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members, identifying areas for improvement and providing training and development opportunities- Monitor and control costs, ensuring projects are completed within budget- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and contribute to business growth- Stay up to date with industry trends and technology advancements, implementing best practices in operations- Maintain a fleet of vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are always in top condition and adhering to maintenance schedules- Prepare and present reports on operations performance to the management teamRequirements:- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Drain and Sewer Cleaning and Maintenance operations- Strong technical knowledge of Jet Vac and Water Recycle Tankers, CCTV and Van Pack Jetting equipment, Robotic cutting, and No-Dig Lining equipment- Proven managerial experience, with excellent leadership and communication skills- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Valid driving licenseBenefits:- Competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum- Company van provided- Opportunity to work with a reputable company and expand your skills and knowledge in the industry- Supportive and collaborative working environment with a dedicated team- Career growth and development
