Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a Hull based high-volume manufacturer in the search for an Operations Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engaging manager to take overall responsibility for the unit, managing warehouseand production staff. This Site Operations Manager duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to:-Overall responsibility for the day to day running of the factory-Engage with other areas of the business including Engineering, Quality & Finance -Oversee weekly production plans to ensure orders are met and despatched on time in full-Responsible for stock levels across the unit-Ensure a safe environment for all staff and implement programmes to improve safety and sustainability -Manage training and development of team members and communicate essential information via regular meetings and use of KPI boardsWe are keen to speak with Operational professions that possess the following skills and experiences:-Demonstrable work experience in a fast paced, high volume food manufacturing environment-Strong commercial instincts and awareness of costs and profit-Familiar with ERP systems and Business Planning methodologies including, IBP, Capacity Management Systems and Statistical Forecasting -Exposure to Lean Six Sigma systems and processes-Strong manager with demonstrable experience of leading teams in a warehouse environment-Strong leadership acumen and an effective communicatorElevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist recruitment consultancy dealing with senior engineering, technical and operational positions in Yorkshire, Derbyshire, and the surrounding regions.
