Acorn Recruitment is searching for 2 Night Hygiene Operatives to join a team of dedicated professionals within a food manufacturing environment based in Hull. The purpose of the role is to ensure that all tasks are carried out in a clean and safe manner according to company standards and procedures. Duties will include: Cleaning walls, floors and machinery within the packing area to ensure that production lines are ready for the morning start up. Swabbing to verify effectiveness of cleaning. Reporting daily non-conformances and ensuring rectification before production begins. Carrying out weekly chemical stock checks as well as maintaining records to rule out any quality, safety or microbial issues. Updating documentation for verification at audits. Always looking for continuous improvement across the factory. The successful candidates must have previous experience of working within a food factory environment ideally in a hygiene role. Knowledge of HACCP, COSHH and internal auditing procedures would stand out. Must be able to commit to a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern 6pm - 6amStarting salary is £10.35ph with a view to increasing to the next grade after a successful 3month period.Acorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
