LOCATION: Commutable to Hull, East Yorkshire, with Hybrid Working in place. THE ROLE As a developer at Sauce, your role will be to think, problem solve, create and develop, working on projects all the way from conception to deployment, testing and continued support. The environment is chill, but the work is fast paced, so you must be wellorganised and have the ability to communicate effectively.For this role the salary range will be between £33,000 and £44,000 with a number of perks and benefits that come with a modern digital company in a tech hub. The role is full time and you will work in a team to develop a variety of api driven web/mobileapps. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Were looking for someone with a minimum of 4 years experience who strives to build well-engineered, user-friendly web and mobile applications using modern tools and frameworks. Youll be tasked with building a variety of solutions that are quite challenging;we work with many IoT projects, web portals and startups involving high volumes of data and integration. Its important that you have an understanding of some current best practices and frameworks with a willingness and drive to keep pushing your knowledgeforward.We use LiveView, React or Ember JS front ends driven by Phoenix based Elixir APIs to build our apps, so experience of either would be great, but not essential. More important is that the successful candidate has a mindset to want to learn and work with oneof or both of these frameworks.

• A solid foundation on the basics of mobile and responsive web development.
• Experience with server side rendering and API development.
• Knowledge of HTTP standards, API best practices, REST, web security and authentication, basics of building scalable solutions.
• Good knowledge of SQL, including complex queries.
• Knowledge of git.
• An appreciation of UX and UI, its very important to the products we build.
• Experience with, or knowledge of AWS, Terraform and CI/CD tools such as CircleCI.
• Can break down complex problems into simple, maintainable solutions.
• Ability to give and receive code reviews and pair programming with juniors.

• Ability to contribute to team planning and collaboration with team members.

• Experience with TDD or BDD, and a test first approach.
• Comfortable joining developer meetings, daily stand-ups and regular planning meetings.
• Ability to contribute in client facing meetings professionally.
• Understanding of agile principles and experience applying them in the real world.
