The Mechanical Reliability Engineer will proactively and safely maximise plant reliability whilst ensuring equipment capability and efficiency, by deploying Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM)techniques.Client DetailsThe client is a successful blue-chip chemical manufacturer based in Kingston Upon Hull.DescriptionThe Mechanical Reliability Engineer will be responsible for:* Lead Reliability Centred Maintenance and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to determine equipment functionality, capability, probability of asset failure and provide mitigation strategies* Support in asset critically assessments of existing and new assets to prevent repeat failures* Collaborate with the maintenance team to provide guidance on maintenance repairs and production to update on estimated down time* Work in collaboration with the business Centre of Excellence to ensure best practice maintenance techniques and technologies are embeddedProfileThe successful Mechanical Reliability Engineer will have:* Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering subject - in place of a degree (HNC/HND) or equivalent qualification anddemonstrated relevant experience* Able to work safely and embed a strong safety culture* Understanding of predictive maintenance technologies and analytics* Experience working with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)* Ability to identify and resolve the Root Causes of Asset failure* Experience from a heavy industrial processing background (e.g. Chemicals, Biofuels, Oil and Gas etc.)Job OfferThe Mechanical Reliability Engineer will be offered a competitive salary and great additional benefits such as:
